PREAMBLE
As you read this CD, I hope that you will become enlightened as to the condition of our political system, our personal political condition and the general political landscape of America.
This movement, with which you are now involved, will change the political condition of the country and the degenerating circumstances that the Progressive Liberal has created.  What I mean by degenerating circumstances is that we as a nation have been conditioned to believe that we must all sacrifice for the political “well – being” of the country.  What the politician really means to say, is the political “well – being” of the party.  Fifty percent of the voting public has been conditioned to believe that government knows best.  They believe that the government should provide for certain groups as other groups support this with their tax dollars.  This occurrence is expanding government beyond the scope of the Constitutional limits.
The Progressive Liberal has moved our political sphere to the far left with socialist policy initiatives through manipulation and gross ignorance of the Constitution.
The Progressive Liberal has confused the terms rights and responsibilities.  The Progressive Liberal caused the atmosphere of partisan politics that have clouded the vision and the perspective of the voter.  I am making this movement an American cause and not a Democrat or Republican thing.
We no longer know the difference between Rights and Responsibilities.  We do not recognize the concept of free markets and how the free market relates to our system of free enterprise and capitalism.  As a result, we have been shifted drastically to the left of the political spectrum and are now flirting with European Socialism.
We are conditioned to take the easy way out, with bail outs.  While bankruptcies that have in some cases, given the function of management of our traditional American industrial institutions to the labor unions.  We have created trillion dollar stimulus programs that have stripped the wealth of the nation in yet unknown ways.  We have put future generations of unborn Americans at risk because of the economic genocide that has been perpetrated on the citizenry.
Pinecone Conservatives is a movement of people that want to change the status quo of both parties.  We will challenge the status quo as our movement grows.  We will present what is fact and correct the distorted facts presented by the complicit progressive media.  We will become the home front in all that is conservative!
We will demand a new found respect for the Constitution from our political leaders and from our educational leaders as well.  We will enforce the belief that our Constitution is as pertinent today as it was when it was adopted.  We will strive to elect politicians who enact laws that are Constitutional.

(2)
We will firmly reject those politicians who sponsor laws that differ in the spirit and the intent of the    Constitution.  We will ensure that judges weigh carefully their decisions in every aspect of the law.
We will perform the due diligence on those that run for office and demand explanations when they are required from those in office.  We will no longer be subject to the government that has trampled on our liberties and freedoms just because they think they can.
Make no mistake Pinecone Conservatives will include - those who are disenfranchised, those who are willing to cross over, those who want a return to civility and those who want to do what is right despite  party lines.  The Party mentality is the issue.   We will support those who support conservative values are willing to go the extra mile to do what is right for our country, our national spirit and most important of all, the American people.  In short we want a return to civility, truth and reliability from our political leaders.
Now, is that too much to ask for?

INTRODUCTION
In introducing myself, I would like to say that I am just a guy that wants to change the current direction of the country.   I want to ensure for our children, a country that has conservative values and a country that will provide a safe environment for growth.  We should strive to have a government that is viable. It should promote the will of our forefathers because they valued both the intent and meaning of our Constitution.
I will demonstrate how capitalism works with the marketing of my new CD and the website www.pineconeconservatives.org.  I will also demonstrate the power of the electronic medium when it is used properly to benefit people.  You will also learn how to communicate the ideals of conservatism through the art of talking and conversing with neighbors and those across the country who share conservative ideals.  We all strive to achieve these ideals for ourselves and for our families now we have an outlet to talk about them.  We will encourage the ideals that bring the best out of citizens and neighbors, to share and expand freedom and liberty for all. We will soundly reject those ideals of the Progressive Liberal that will tear down and rebuild with regressive idea’s that do not work or promote self reliance and creativity.
I have researched community organizing in order to create a new movement of people that want a return to common sense, practical conservative values of neighborhood, community and the American spirit that our founding patriots fought for and died for.
The ultimate goal of pine cone conservatives is to form a coalition of people interested in creating a movement of patriots to reform government while maintaining a vigil over the Constitution, our Bill of Rights and the destiny of a Nation conceived in Liberty and Freedom.
The strategy of Community Organizing is a strategy for ordinary people gaining a measure of power by people that have little power.  Let me state that again.  It is a strategy for ordinary people to gain a measure of power by people that have little power.
Community organizing has been mainly reserved for radical groups that have opposed the policies of the status quo.  Or better said, those that would have a certain disdain or concern over policies of economic and political groups.  Organizers usually concentrate their efforts, for example, towards a multinational superstructure or policies of the Federal Government that might regulate the global economy and the rights of individuals.
Our goal is to reduce the size of government, its influence over the reduction of our freedoms and its current policy of taxation, nationalization of banks, insurance companies and now our manufacturing industries.  This nationalization - if left unchecked - will migrate to health care and other segments in commerce and trade, not to mention the management of the environment.

 (4)
Ordinary people have always been moved to take action in their local community.  The first step is to form a relationship with people that share the same grievance or that could share in the leverage necessary to effectuate the necessary change needed.
Usually, people will band together.   In neighborhoods, factories, housing projects, schools and churches to mobilize in a common gathering place. We will be organizing with the aid of the website www.pineconeconservatives.org.  Our CD is intended to work in conjunction with the web site that is designed to provide the basis of mobilization.
This CD will provide you with the strategies, tactics, methods and techniques that you will need to employ if you want to change the status quo.  We will give you the means to track your efforts and your success.
This CD will illustrate how to take collective action.  It defines a grass roots approach to articulate fundamental principles of conservative values and how to take action to make social change.  It also provides a historical essay on how Liberalism took its roots and how our political system is now at the far end of the left in political philosophy and in their actions towards the citizenry.
Samuel Adams wrote: “It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires of freedom in the minds of men.”
A pinecone will only reseed itself when it is consumed by fire. They then will only grow with a new season and, like the phoenix, they will rise out of the ashes.  Consider Pine Cone Conservatives as the new seeds of liberty, as we grow out of the liberal inferno that now consumes us all.
WE ARE PINE CONE CONSERVATIVES!

(5)
FIRST STEPS
The other community organization group that we are all aware of is ACORN.  The founder of ACORN Wade Rathke said “If it isn’t growing, it’s dying. “ACORN, Association of Community Organization for Reform Now, has been successful because of the radical element in its founding and in their left wing political activities.  There is a tendency in any community organizing group to be radical.  We do not encourage any violence or any disruptive action, like some other community organizing groups do.
What we do stress is to look at the blueprint, study it and see what can be lifted from the playbook and then make it our own.  Only our view is if our conservative values are not growing then we’re not growing Conservatism.  The difference in our view is with the word dying.  Conservatives are usually encouraging, optimistic people.  We look for the good and want the good to grow and prosper.
PINECONE, People INvolved and Energized for Conservative Organization NationwidE
Formed as an alternative political voice we are dedicated to encourage conservative values. Our goal is to motivate all voters that share our desire for a return of fiscal responsibility and conservative thoughts and actions to our Local, State and National Communities.
These words are our rallying point.  They are not radical and they do not inspire violence. On the contrary, they encourage Intellectual growth.  The modern day Progressive Liberal wants to change America through taxation and liberal values.  This is evidenced by the last fifty years in: the politics of Roosevelt’s New Deal and Johnson’s failed Great Society, Abortion rights legislation,  Carter’s weakening of the national spirit with high Inflation, unemployment and a failed economy,  Clinton’s push for dead on arrival National Healthcare, a sex scandal and impeachment. We are now into The Obama Administration’s drastic push to the left with lightening fast speed, in nationalizing Industry, and our financial Institution’s.   We should not forget Stimulus Programs that are in the trillions of dollars that to date have not worked.  We were promised transparency and we have got it in a transparent leader that will use any excuse and any tactic to placate the left.
Our congressional leaders admitted that they did not read the 9,000 plus pages of the 2009 stimulus package (or better known as the “porkulous” bill) for content which ended up in wasteful and partisan spending. Why can’t we ask the question of why - and put a stop to this madness?
In short our government is performing social engineering and economic genocide that the liberal must accomplish to further their agenda of left wing socialist policies. The government has taken our money and charged us interest on it in the form of higher taxes.  We cannot stop it nor can we ask why and receive a simple answer.

(6)
These values are in direct contrast to what the American experiment was all about.  Our founding fathers fought against the oppressive policies of King George III.  Our founding patriots wanted total freedom for themselves and for their families.  Though revolution and armed conflict was the ultimate outcome, a Constitution, government, and a free country were created as a result. The thought of the patriots then, was fight now, so future generations would not have to. They knew they needed to preserve a way of life and a country through a constitution that was limited in its power over the citizenry.  “The United States was known then as a Constitutionally Limited Republic.”
What the modern day conservative has to do is change the paradigm.  We are in a battle (though not an armed battle) for intellectual ideas and practical conservative values.  Usually, a conservative is quiet and does not broadcast any conservative values.  Our values are the values of the founding fathers that gave us abiding law and protected the people against tyranny and oppression.  Why should we not advertise or broadcast the fact that we believe in what Washington and Adams proposed for us? Lincoln and Reagan believed in the same founding principles. All these men went on to greatness and were respected because of their philosophy in fighting for freedom and articulating the words of freedom from a base of unbending principle.  Each of these men faced a time in our history that threatened the very existence of the country.
Washington had to win the revolution; Adams had to bring a new country to focus on the ideals laid out in the constitution, Lincoln had to mend a nation and Reagan had to cure the nation from the failed Carter policies of liberalism.
Why should we depart from the greatness of our founding fathers and be conditioned to accept the status quo? For example, why should we let the media shape the image of the news to fit a template of one political party? Why should we allow an administration to trample the Constitution with taxation and nationalization?  Why should we allow the courts to rule in favor of the opposition, interpreting the law and violating the rights of the unborn?  Would Washington, Adams, Lincoln and Reagan have accepted the status quo? The answer is no.  So why should we accept it if we believe that our country is rapidly moving to the far left?
Change the paradigm and you change the outcome.  Become engaged. Don’t be afraid to challenge someone in a conversation or write a letter to your representatives in Congress.  Hold your representatives to a higher standard, and vote them out when they don’t pass the litmus test to what that higher standard is.  Our representatives live to vote – but they live by your vote.   You have the power to create change, so use it, in an effective way.
This CD will educate you, encourage you and give you the methods by which to change the paradigm.

(7)
This CD will also help you get into the head of the modern day Liberal or better yet, the Progressive.   You must understand that your opponent, the tactics they use and the way they use those tactics are all part and parcel to the politics of the Progressive Liberal.  In the arena of debating ideas you have the power to win.  The modern Liberal or Progressive Liberal can be challenged by changing the paradigm.  They are disciplined and are supported by many groups with money and the political clout to be in front all the time.  The modern Conservative must challenge these methods and question the political clout that they enjoy.  Remember that if you change the paradigm, you change the outcome.
Norman Mantoon Thomas, A four time Presidential Candidate of the Socialist Party of America said in 1944, “The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism.  But, under the name of Liberalism, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened”?  He went on to say, “I no longer need to run as a Presidential Candidate for the Socialist Party.  The Democrat Party has adopted our platform.” This quote will appear many times in this document.
You must consider these words and understand what is meant.  You must consider what is happening at the Federal level of your government and how it relates to the country, to know where we are headed as a nation and society.  If you can grasp this you will be ready to join in on the fight for liberty and freedom.  Conservatism is the only way to bring back our nation from the abyss of liberalism and provide to the citizens what is promised in the Constitution.
Our forefathers laid out a plan.  This CD will help you understand their plan through the use of their words and a comparing and contrasting of past and present issues throughout our history from the constitutional convention to present day.  You must read and study the content with an open mind and structure your arguments to fit the examples as presented.  It is a mind set, it takes discipline and courage.
One example is the paradigm shift chart.  It shows where Progressive Liberalism must go while showing where conservatism must be to gain political power.
Remember that if you change the paradigm, you change the outcome.
You start this process by realizing what the argument is.  We need to educate the voter to take the partisan emotion and hatred out of the decision making process.  The vote should be an educated vote that has very little partisan emotion.  Anything less is a vote of unreasoned allegiance and a vote that doesn’t change the paradigm of the power base, which is the citizen.
The argument centers on a very simple premise.  It centers on rights and responsibilities.  We as citizens have inalienable rights and we need to act responsibly to maintain these unalienable rights.  If we fail in our responsibility of protecting our traditions, then our rights disappear.

(8)
When this change happens a new form of rights or order will appear. The responsibility then shifts to a government that will establish who gets the rights and who doesn’t, the question then becomes who shall be the recipient and who shall be the provider.
Samuel Adams said on November 20, 1772,  in the report to the committee conference at the Boston Town Meeting, THE RIGHTS OF THE COLONIES:”Among the natural rights of the colonists are these: first a right to life, secondly to liberty, thirdly to property: together with the right to support and defend them in the best manner they can.  These are evident branches of, rather than deductions from, the duty of self preservation, commonly called the first law of nature.”
Our early founders knew that each citizen had a responsibility to hold and protect rights with high regard and when they are threatened we have the right to protect them.  In an age when the internet and a complicit media didn’t exist, people of the time were educated on fact and the exacting premise of the great decisions that they were asked to make.  These decisions led to the creation of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and ultimately the founding of the country.
The citizenry then, knew what the issues were because they worked to get the truth.  They were involved because they each had a stake in the game.  They knew that these newly formed inalienable rights could be taken away quicker than the fight that ensued to gain them.  The people of that era were better guardians of their inalienable rights than we are now. They were more responsible in protecting those inalienable rights than we are now.

Change this paradigm and the conservative will become the guardian of the inalienable rights that are guaranteed in the Constitution.  We must do this to make the government accountable to the citizen and ensure that those who hold office are accountable to the citizenry and not to the special interests.
The chart on the following page illustrates the paradigm shift that is required to begin taking back our country.   We need to demonstrate our electorate responsibility, and send a message to our government that we intend to have our Constitution remain viable.  We need to insure that the people we send to office are respectful of their responsibility to us.
Do not let any Progressive Liberal tell you that the Constitution is outdated because it was written in a time that no longer exits.  This is pure bunk, it is the excuse the “progressive liberal” will use because they know when it comes time to stand up, they will be on the wrong side of history.  Our Constitution was written by men who were living in the time.   They knew the dangers of monarchies and rulers.  They knew the benefits of self rule and of owning property not only in the monetary sense but in the sense of mind and spirit.  It is called intellectual property, which very few (if any) “progressive liberal” own and have the power to possess!
John Adams wrote,” The moment the idea is admitted into society, that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence”

(9)
Our forefathers for the most part were conservatives which is why they were successful in creating the documents that formed our nation!  They knew right from wrong, they knew the value of what self reliance generated and they knew that a nation who’s people were strong in their heart and soul would preserve the nation and protect the natural liberties that they established to be law.
This is where you start in the journey of conservatism.  Don’t be afraid to use these arguments.  They are factual and they will diminish the “progressive liberals” arguments of these policies and laws are outdated.  It will diminish their claims, and will start the building process of creating interest in what the Constitution is all about.

THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST-OUR CONSTITUTION
James Madison the father of the Constitution used the most eloquent of words to lay the foundation of rule and behavior for a nation to honor and preserve.  At each Presidential Inauguration the new President Elect, while he is sworn in as President, takes an oath to protect and defend the Constitution.  The oath of office says:
I, (name) do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of The United States, and I will, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of The United States of America.
The modern day Liberal President, from Roosevelt and Johnson, through the Carter and the Clinton years now on to the Obama years, have not held true to those words.  For instance, if the Constitution was protected and defended, the Liberal Progressive would not have to bend the laws in the Judiciary and the Supreme Court to subvert current social policy questions and existing laws.  In most cases, these laws are left up to the States so that the Constitution is kept limited.
For instance, is the act of abortion outlined in the Constitution in the form of an easy yes or no question? Does the Constitution allow for the living (unborn) to have its right to life violated?  The Liberal has made the question of abortion moot by making the abortion issue a question of is the fetus being considered alive at six months?
The conservative wants the original intent in any constitutional question preserved because it is viewed as natural law.  However, the Progressive Liberal will pass laws that on the surface look to be compassionate, but are out of the boundaries of the words and intent of the principles laid out in the framework of the Constitution.  The Progressive Liberal will tell you that the Constitution is a living breathing article that is growing and changing.  What the Constitution does in the stated format is not up for interpretation. It is designed to be passed on to future generations.  The tradition of law is guaranteed so that the society remains intact and safeguards the same freedoms that our patriots fought for and died for.  It was the authors intent to pass it on to those who are yet unborn, “and to secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity.”
The framers who wrote our Constitution knew that what they had written would need to be preserved so that all free people could depend on the rule of law that ensured and guaranteed their protection and freedom.   Freedom to own property, freedom of worship, freedom to assemble, freedom of speech, and freedom from tyranny is its guarantee ‘establish justice, insure, domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare.”

 (35)
THE LIBERAL AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZING
My experience with the Liberal Progressive is that they don’t shut up and they don’t back down.  The Liberal Progressive thinks that they have the lock on what life in America should be.  The Great Society of the Johnson Administration is just one example.  The Progressive Liberal has been successful in marketing their ideas to the less fortunate and to those that, quite frankly, don’t know what the difference is between being a Conservative or a Liberal.
Look at what the Democrats have done with Welfare.  It has caused entire generations of the poor the minorities to become dependent on government for housing and welfare.  It has caused these groups to lose any sense of self worth and value.  The crime rate of minority citizens and of the poor is many times higher than that of the white population.  The statistics show that crime is more violent and more destructive to the family unit in those depressed neighborhoods that are targeted as Welfare communities.  Just look at the FBI’s own statistics on crime.
The out - of – wedlock birth rate is also higher, which correlates to the level of education that the poor and the minorities receive.  In many cases, the father is not around so the mother takes double duty in raising the child. The progressive liberal has distorted truth and history about the Welfare failure.  They have one central thought that it is for their own political dominance and Party rule.   That is how the liberals continue to expand the government and the Welfare state.  Since 1965, approximately ten trillion dollars have been invested into these programs while the poverty level and poverty rate still remains the same today as it was then.
Through organizing, the progressive is able to recruit from within these groups so that the organized can blame the outcome of failed policies on those who reject the premise of welfare. The conservative is the one who appears to be at fault.  The liberal will make it almost impossible to climb out of the system once their victims are in it due to policy and their scheme of creating the dependency.
Through community organizing they have infiltrated many public institutions and traditions that the conservative holds as a tenant of society.  When you speak to a “progressive liberal” you will find that they do not hold traditional values. They do not work to better the society through fair play and the honest debate of ideas and ideals.  IT IS EASY TO BE A PROGRESSIVE LIBERAL BECAUSE THEY DO NOT STAND FOR ANYTHING EXCEPT CHANGE THAT WEAKENS ALL LEVELS OF OUR SOCIETY THROUGH DEPNDANCY AND POLICIES THAT ARE DESIGNED FOR FAILURE. HOWEVER: THEY DO IT THORUGH COMPASSION!  As we stated, the Progressive Liberal has weakened an entire level and whole generations of our society by making a large part of the population dependent on the Welfare state.  These dependent citizens were the product of Johnson’s Great Society, which as we know now has failed.

SELF IDENTIFYING CHARACTERISTICS OF CONSERVATIVES THE BIG 8 + 1
My experience over the last decade is that conservatives have certain identifying characteristics.  These characteristics are unique to us, and we do not differ in these core values.  When we reference a value based characteristic, Conservatives possess the same pattern in their approach to people and life in general.
Our Characteristics are:

  1. BIG THINKERS with VISION
  2. CREATIVE and INNOVATIVE
  3. HAVE COURAGE and are RISK TAKERS
  4. COMMITTED with PERSERVERANCE
  5. Have HUMILITY and CHARACTER
  6. HARD WORKING with INTEGRITY
  7. COMMON SENSE with PRACTICALITY
  8. GIVE BACK what we EARN

+ 1 is FAITH – not secular visions
This is not to say Progressive Liberals don’t believe in the big 8 or to say they don’t possess these traits. Some of them do, they just don’t know it. In the context of political thought and action, these are the people we must start a conversation with.
Conservatives are raised to believe in the big 8 + 1 characteristics.  We consider for example – that you must have courage to take a risk.  It would never dawn on a Conservative to have for example our government finance or have the courage to risk everything on a thought or an idea.
Progressive Liberals do not want risk takers with creative ideas to produce for themselves.  They would prefer that anyone who becomes a success would then contribute through tax and legislation - so that all of their earnings are awarded to those who have nothing or to those who might have been victimized by society.  Conversely, a conservative would prefer to give back what they earn through charities or to provide an opportunity for someone to the gain the necessary skills, so that they can earn for themselves or start a business.  It is estimated that 80 % of the jobs are created by small business.  How novel of an idea you see this is what being creative is all about!
You can make a similar argument by comparing and contrasting every value base listed.  Each one of these values, if left alone, will create a better self sustaining society, if left to the person to manage.  However, they do not work and do not contribute to the better good of society if government assumes it can partner with these.

(51)
POWER AND THE ORGANIZATION
Be ready to have most of your organizing activity and your organizing efforts met with all forms of resistance.  It is imperative that you get a consensus and find a common ground in your political arena.  It is best to limit the field of activity to one or two issues.  If you organize and find that multiple issues arise because of a diverse group, your efforts might be diluted and your activity will be minimal.
If you as a conservative want to bring change at the local level, then you might want to support a candidate that wants to run on a platform that talks about fiscal responsibility and not include the partisan discussions that arise from social awareness issues.  In the end, it is best to keep things simple and free from controversy.  Make sure that you illustrate to those voters who are on the fence that your arguments are ones that make sense, cover a broad base and addresses value based initiatives.  Relate history with examples of cause and effect.
It is far easier to cultivate support with those that are like minded and are willing to focus single efforts that others around them are supporting.  In other words if your group is concerned over fiscal concerns, stick to that topic in your recruiting efforts.
Thomas Jefferson wrote in 1812; “Unless the mass retains sufficient control over those entrusted with the powers of their government, these will be perverted to their own oppression and to the perpetuation of wealth and power in the individuals and their families selected for the trust.”
Bigger government only makes for a bigger chance for fraud and corrupt activities.  The government that governs the least governs the best.  PINE CONE does not want the power to direct activities, but rather to be a force to change the activity of those who govern us.  When government loses sight of what is good and what is bad and is willing to support the bad policies that were set in place years before, then it is time to change our philosophy and return back to a traditional course in what we expect out of our leaders. John Adams spoke on the thoughts of government in Philadelphia 1776, he said,”The foundation of every government is some principle of passion in the minds of the people.  The noblest principles and the most generous affections in our nature, then, have the fairest chance to support the noblest and most generous models of government.” We expect our leaders to be noble and we expect government to exact fairness.  Is it not fair to expect that we demand a government that acts out of fairness to all and not to placate to a specific group for votes at the cost of the other civic groups or members of our society.
Each Democratic leader since the 1930’s has tried to enact a liberal agenda.  Most of the agendas have been met with failure.  There is now new evidence that Roosevelt’s - New Deal prolonged the depression.   Kennedy’s administration gave into the Russian’s with the Anti Ballistic Missile deployment in Europe, and didn’t manage the beginnings of the war in Viet Nam with principle and a conviction to win.  President Johnson’s war policy in Viet Nam failed because he acted like a liberal and did not want to fight to win in the armed conflict.

(54)
Do you see a trend of the perceived social good that the Liberal always makes the argument for? Puzzling isn’t it?  Reagan said in 1972, “When government decides to solve something, we have learned to be wary.  The cure may not always be worse than the disease, but it is usually bigger and it costs more”.
As I stated earlier PINE CONE does not strive to be a body of registers that lives on funding with tax dollars and fraudulent business activities.  We strive to be a citizen body that promotes truth, and that can communicate the facts with those who might not be aware of misguided information.   We also recognize that the emotional divide seems to persist with conservatives and liberals or red vs. blue regions.  We must change this paradigm as well.  The divide that exists is out of hatred.  This is due to the false facts that have been floated out there about the conservative cause and the false representation that exists in the media and in the reporting of the issues.
Reagan said in his remarks to Marine Corps basic training graduates, Paris Island, South Carolina, June 4, 1986, “Good citizenship and defending democracy means living up to the ideals and values that make this country great” It is not the state controlled media nor the fraudulent voting practices of a group that makes a great country.  It is the makeup of the character of the people that want to prohibit the fraudulent activity that keeps a country great! It’s only practical.
Look at PINE CONE CONSERVATIVES as the new sons of Liberty.   The Sons of Liberty sprang up from the bottom of society, the working man, during the founding of our country in 1765! This was a group of early community organizers that started the Revolution with no modern form of communication except word of mouth and people talking to people. If great things were done then there is no excuse why they can’t be done now.
Those patriots knew what values were, they knew what liberty was and they spoke the truth and presented the correct facts of the day.  These were the seeds of Liberty that gave us our constitution and provided free men the opportunity to be as great as their country would be!
We must be practical in our approach! And we must be practical in our expectations.

ORGANIZING FOR POWER – AFFECTING THE TURNOUT
There are eight functions you must be aware and know to effectively organize for political power.  These eight elements, if used properly, will ensure in part, a successful movement.  Success in organizing is a hard thing to measure. There are many variables that you must manage and be aware of.  If you can master THE 8’s then you have a chance to achieve a successful measure of progress.  They are:

Eight Tools for Taking Power – THE 8’s
1. Doing it yourself:
2. Developing persuasive arguments:
3. Raising awareness and consciousness:
4. Using existing laws, policies, and processes:
5. Creating or changing laws, policies and processes:
6. Generating publicity:
7. Making sure business as usual doesn’t occur:
8. Exercising electoral power:
MOVING TO THE RIGHT TAKES THESE 8 TOOLS TO AFFECT THE OUTCOME!

THE AUDACITY OF OUR HOPE
Knowing a small part of the history of how the Progressive Liberal has put their hands around the necks of free Americans, I have to aAsk this question - how can a free people begin to ask or have the thought that we are truly free?  The Progressive liberal has socialism and Marxism in their hearts.  Remember what Norman Mantoon Thomas said: “The American People will never knowingly adopt socialism.  But, under the name of Liberalism, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened”?  He went on to say:” I no longer need to run as a Presidential Candidate for the Socialist Party.  The Democrat Party has adopted our platform”.
The Progressive Liberal, Socialist will tell the voter that Conservatives want to take our country back to a repressive time.  The Progressive Liberal, Socialist will also tell you we do not have the right to be Conservative because our basis of thought and traditional values are no longer a part of the fabric of the nation.  The Progressive Liberal, Socialist will say the hope of Conservatives is to enslave the poor, isolate the minority, and take the fairness out of the society.  They will say that Conservatives will never create a place for any minority group to prosper.
We of course know a different side to Conservatism.  We want a just society that rewards a person, no matter if he is a minority or not.   We want to reward people for hard work through opportunity, self worth, and pride.  The Liberal will say it’s the audacity of our hope that is not accepted in our society any longer.
When a leftist takes control there is no turning back.   Though they speak of freedom they will enslave us with policies that don’t provide for, or better put - ensure our freedom.  They will create enormous budgets and disguise the spending as necessary so that they can ensure that the needs of society are met with an agenda of hope and change. They will do it while using the words of compassion, fairness, and building a new society that will demonstrate to the world that we have been enlightened and seen the errors of our ways.  Society should not measure compassion by how big the federal budget is. Reagan said at the National Alliance of Business forum on October 5, 1981, ”The size of the federal budget is not an appropriate barometer of social conscience or charitable concern.”
We think we are free because we are told we are free people.  We think we are free, because we do not have restrictions on our movement.  We think we are free, because we do not have lines in the grocery store.  We think we are free, because we can go the University to study.  We think we are free, because we have freedom of choice.  We think we are free, because the political parties use words like Change, Liberty and Security.  It is THE AUDACITY OF OUR HOPE that the progressive will dismiss because we desire and want to arrive at this conclusion with honest intellectual debate.

BACK TO THE FUTURE
What has been laid out in front of you is a plan.  The techniques are based on the radical and what the Progressive Liberal has effectively been able to achieve in their pursuit of a liberal agenda.  The course was started years ago by statists that were born out of the elitist Socialist class of Europe.  The Socialist the Marxist and the Eastern establishment had a perceived view of what their perfect America and the world in general would be.
An America that shared its riches, an America that provided a chance to live free and gain in property and wealth, an America that gave the gift of freedom to all.  A Nation conceived in Liberty and justice for all.  This was the vision of our early leaders.  The Progressive Liberal would have you believe that this to was their aim in change.  In reality (and what they don’t tell you) is that the change the Progressive Liberal wants is just the opposite.  Their agenda calls for a nation that has no moral laws, a nation that restricts movement in an economic sense, and a nation that believes taxes are okay to pay. They believe there is a greater sacrifice to make, and that is made by those who have the wealth. It is called redistribution of wealth.
Until we can go back in history to view what our forefathers believed and before we fought a revolution, we cannot envision what was laid out before us in a very simple plan of very intelligent men.  These men of history, who wrote words of the mind, gave us a treasure map.  The treasure was enduring freedom.  However, the plan would only work if we followed the rules of a constitutionally limited republic that was outlined and which the Constitution guarantees.  The plan would then preserve itself for future generations to maintain.   Remember the Constitution does not use the word posterity lightly.
This is why, when we organize, we must use the same rules our forefathers used.  We must use the same vision and mind - set they had so that we can discover the map of history and find the latitude and longitude that our forefathers fought to find and preserve.  It was North America, the year 1761. Finally we have made it!
John Adams wrote to Thomas Jefferson on August 24, 1815.
“AS TO THE HISTORY OF THE REVOLUTION, MY Ideas may be peculiar, perhaps singular.  What do we mean by the Revolution?  The War?  That was no part of the Revolution!  It was only an Effect and Consequence of it.  The Revolution was in the Minds of the People, and this was affected, from 1761 to 1775, in the course of fifteen Years before a drop of blood was drawn at Lexington.  The Records of thirteen Legislatures, the Pamphlets, and Newspapers in all the Colonies ought to be consulted, during that Period, to ascertain the steps by which the Public Opinion was enlightened and informed concerning the authority of Parliament over the Colonies”

What John Adams was saying to Jefferson was this:  The dream of the colonists was to create a free and separate country from English rule and the rule of King George.  The colonies would have rights, but that a government would be created with limited rights over the colonies.  He was saying then, that we should never forget the documented history of those years.  He felt that we as a country should preserve this history and make sure that all of the citizenry is informed of that part of our history.
Until we grasp these ideas, we will never have success in communicating with passion to others that don’t understand what the blueprint was for America.  It was not an America that perverted its own laws to have a few in the minority overtake the majority with false security.
“They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserves neither liberty or security”
With these elegant and powerful words Benjamin Franklin summed up a nation that was created for all to partake in its success.  But those who partake in its success must never give in to the false sense of security from a government who disguises those words to subvert and who would destroy anyone who opposes them.  We are in a midst of a revolution.  Our enemies are in our sight and they are quickly approaching our personal borders.  We must be vigilant and we must know our history before we embark on a path to secure the heritage and rich history that was given to every American as a gift from those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the name of liberty.
George Washington wrote, ”When we assumed the soldier, we did not lay aside the citizen”. Can you imagine a Liberal, a Statist, an Elitist or Progressive saying this?  Nor would they consider the following: “Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation: ‘tis better to be alone than in bad company” Our first President, George Washington, believed these words were of paramount importance for any man.  Why then, would we elect a president, who was a member of a radical Chicago Church, led by a radical man of the cloth, and who associates openly with a repentant socialist terrorist?
Why would we not demand that President Clinton, who had a sexual relationship with an intern, resign when he was impeached by Congress?  Another President in our recent history did resign when he found out he was going to be impeached and he was a Republican.  He was Richard Nixon.  It is never the crime but the cover up!  The difference again is in the definition of Liberal and Conservative, right and wrong and having the courage to act on it when it confronts you.
Our times have changed from those of Washington and Adams.  Things happen faster and with more abrupt purpose.  We cannot blame time nor current office holders for that change. What we can blame them for is the departure from what was intended by our founders.  We can also blame ourselves for the corrupt government, with intellectually corrupt men and women in power.  We have lost the latitude and longitude that our forefathers gave to us as the citizen who has the sole power of making change.  It was the map of freedom.   It was our Constitution.  This is why we must consider the words of the founders as a starting place to realize what their plan for the future of our country was.
